The Chicopee High Girls volleyball ended their regular season with an amazing record of 18-2. They finished first in the southern league and are now advancing to play offs. The team had many players that attributed to their success this season including seniors Aysha Miller, Irina Dumanetskaya, and junior Jasmine Leyda. Front row player Aysha Miller lead the team in kills with 264 by the end of the regular season, and Jasmine Leyda followed with 144 kills for the season. Irina Dumanetskaya lead the team in assists with 217 and ended the year with 38 services aces. The Team has received the third seed in the playoff bracket and gets a bye for the first week. The team will play the winner of the Pittsfield vs. Holyoke game on Nov. 6th at Chicopee High school. Congratulations to all ogf the girls volleyball players and goodluck in the post season!
